Chaos Bleak take inspiration from the early post-punk sound before 'The Sisters Of Mercy' became the template for traditional 'gothic rock'. Mixing this sonic approach with the dancefloor focused Electro Goth of the 90's, and in the process creating a powerful blend that sounds like no other!

Digital Releases
The band's approach is to release a series of digital singles and then to put them together with bonus tracks as a limited edition CD EP. When enough tracks have been collected and two CD EP's released, the band put together the best of these releases together with other bonus tracks as an album. The Square Centre Session 5.8.2020
During the first lockdown, the band were asked by Baz who ran The Square Centre in Nottingham if they wanted to play a live streaming gig in October of that year. Three 'live in the studio' sessions were recorded in preparation for the streaming gig and this recording was the first of the sessions.
This official 'bootleg' was released as a bonus free album which was given to everyone who bought the bands debut album 'A New Age Of Darkness' directly from the band.
Other tracks from the other sessions have appeared as bonus tracks and Xmas give-a-ways and other tracks are expected to emerge over time.
Sadly, due to the implementation of harsher lockdown restrictions in October 2020, the gig never happened and these recordings are the only document of that project.
