It’s been three years since the release of highly regarded underground classic “Funeral Nation”, and legendary darkwave pioneers Midnight Configuration have been through many changes. The most notable is the departure of MC front woman Lisa Brown (Nee Ross). Due to the problems of time, other commitments and distance, Lisa has left the band to concentrate on her and her husband Kneil’s band “Brother Orchid”.  Before she left she recorded vocals for three of the songs on this new CD.  Thus leaving MC with a wonderful legacy and a bridge that connects the “old” with the “new”.

The constantly evolving MC sound sees the band journey across some truly dark seas, delving into the depths of difficult human emotions and asking telling metaphysical and non metaphysical questions. The samples are darker and more poignant than ever, pointing the listener towards the direction of the “true meaning”. The programming is simultaneously more evolved and harder, taking the band away from any other releases around at the moment and placing them very much in world of their own making.   As always MC are stretching the boundaries of what was once called “Goth”, this time they have broken the barriers forever with a demonic black industrial runaway train of an album.
